At COTA RV, you can camp where the racing action is! This full-service RV resort is trackside at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. Many sites offer 30/50-amp full hookups. The park also offers WiFi, cable, restrooms, laundry, a gated pool, and a playground. What makes this park so amazing is being just steps away from the racetrack where you can wake up to the roar of engines or stay late for concerts and other events. This one surprised us all!

Ehrenberg / River Sands KOA Holiday

River Sands is a hidden gem along the Colorado River, right on the Arizona-California border. Sun Outdoors Rocky Mountains

Sun Outdoors Rocky Mountains completely wowed us. We stayed in one of their beautiful cabins and loved every detail, from the cozy interior to the mountain views from the porch. It’s one of the most stunning resorts we’ve seen, with a modern lodge, pool and hot tubs, on-site activities, and sweeping Rocky Mountain scenery. Even though we didn’t RV here, we explored the RV sites and would absolutely recommend them. They’re spacious and perfectly placed to soak up those views.

Jellystone Park at Larkspur

If you’re camping with kids (or you're a kid at heart), Jellystone Park at Larkspur is a hit. It’s packed with family-friendly fun with pools, water slides, splash zones, playgrounds, a bounce pillow, mini golf, and daily activities with Yogi Bear. The sites are easy to get into, and the whole park feels lively and well thought out for families. Our boys had a blast here, and we loved having so much to do without ever leaving the campground.

Golden Eagle Ranch RV Park & Campground

Golden Eagle Ranch RV Park has a classic, old-school campground feel with sites tucked among the trees. It’s a quieter, more rustic stay compared to the newer resort-style parks, so think simple amenities and a peaceful, no-frills setting close to Colorado Springs. While it doesn’t have all the polished extras, it’s a good option if you’re looking for a laid-back place to park and enjoy the outdoors.

Durango RV Resort

If you’re headed to southwest Colorado, Durango RV Resort makes the perfect home base. Set along the Animas River with beautiful mountain views, the park offers spacious full-hookup sites, a heated pool and hot tub, and plenty of grassy areas to relax. It’s close enough to historic downtown Durango for easy exploring, yet peaceful and quiet at night. Our boys loved the open spaces and the riverside setting made evenings extra special.

Village Camp Moab

Village Camp Moab is a gorgeous, adventure-ready resort just minutes from Arches and a quick trip to Canyonlands National Parks. The sites are roomy with full hookups, and the resort feel is elevated with a stunning clubhouse, pool, hot tub, and gathering spaces that make it easy to relax after a day on the trails. We loved the modern vibe, epic red rock views, and how easy it was to launch into Moab’s endless outdoor adventures right from camp.

Settlers Point Luxury RV Resort - Washington, UT

Here's another park that has definitely earned the title of "Luxury" in our book! The sites are spacious, the park is kept in pristine condition, the amenities are abundant, and the staff is top-notch! This resort is in Washington, UT, close to St. George and Zion National Park. We've visited this park multiple times and it's our "go to" for one of our favorite places in the U.S.!

Mesquite Trails RV Resort, Mesquite, NV

We chose Mesquite Trails RV Resort because it was close to Vegas, Valley of Fire, and St. George. We easily could have stayed here much longer! Their facilities were still under construction, as of May of 2024, but we saw the plans and they're going to be fantastic! Mesquite, NV is such a neat town and it's OHV/Side-By-Side friendly, so you can drive them right on the street so you can get to the MANY trails around. This is the perfect in between spot for anywhere near the Nevada, Arizona, Utah border! Visit 3 states in one visit!

Verde Ranch RV Resort, Camp Verde, AZ

This park is about an hour north of Phoenix and 40 minutes south of Sedona. Verde Ranch has definitely earned it's "resort" title! The large sites easily accommodated our 45 foot fifth wheel. If you're looking for a park with pristine amenities and beautiful surroundings, this is the one! No RV? No problem! They have cabins and adorable glamping tents too!

Camp Margaritaville - Auburndale, FL

WARNING! Your kids will be BEGGING you to go back to this resort, non-stop! We spent our first full-time RV winter at this resort and our boys haven't stopped talking about it. This is the true definition of resort. The pools and facilities are top-notch! One of our favorite things about this resort is the organized activities that are always happening. And if you don't have an RV, check out one of their adorable and cozy cabins. You won't be disappointed!

Fox Hill RV Park & Campground - Baraboo, WI

Fox Hill was an adorable park with a ton of personality. When we visited, they were having their early Halloween celebrations to prepare for the end of the camping season and our boys had a blast! Their ownsite bar and grill was fantastic! We can't wait to visit again in the future with some warmer weather to enjoy their giant slide and pond! Be sure to check out the tons of water parks in the area since it is the water park capital of the U.S.!

Kamp Dels - Waterville, MN

Unfortunately, our visit to Kamp Dels was in the "off-season", so we can't go into detail about all of their amazing activities. But we can speak on the beautiful park and the great location! We can't wait to visit again when we can enjoy all of their amazing facilities and awesome waterpark!

Rapid City RV Park and Campground - Rapid City, SD

Headed to Badlands? This park is the perfect location. It's an older park with a lot of personality, but grab yourself an end site at the bottom of the hill and even big rigs will fit. The views across the valley were beautiful, especially all lit up at night!

Alpine Valley RV Resort - Alpine, WY

If you're heading to Grand Teton National Park, put this one on your list of resorts! This park really WOW'd us! It's location is perfect and even though the drive to Grand Teton was a little longer than most people would prefer, it's a drive we couldn't get enough of! You get the most beautiful views of the Snake River heading in and out of the park. The amenities and attention to detail at the park were amazing and our boys definitely put it at the top of their favorite playgrounds list!
